Introducing the Cultivator Kitchen
Spark Makerspace is partnering with veteran restaurant entrepreneur Robert Ramsay from the Montauk House Cafe to pilot a new approach to business education and development: a class-like program led by people with substantial experience in a field to literally design and start a business together.
We call this the Cultivator.
The Cultivator Kitchen project was just selected as a winning project in the Thames River Innovation Place initiative providing startup funds!!
Before launching on starting a restaurant, we are prototyping this program through Tiny Town by working with two food entrepreneurs who already have businesses to help them launch them further through this event.
Lacy Donovan has a healthy prepared food businesses called Guiltless Eating to Go.
Jacquie Riddle has a soul food business that she'd like to develop into a food truck.
They have been getting cultivated by Robert to test out their concept to a larger audience through Tiny Town.
