Tiny Town is a two-day interactive street festival designed to have fun, test a few new ideas, and introduce education that helps ignite the potential of Southeastern Connecticut.

Streets will be closed off outside of Spark Makerspace on July 28th and 29th to create a mini village in the city through the placement of tiny houses, painted streetscapes, and programming designed to jumpstart a few new businesses.

Tiny Town also marks the launch of an innovative partnership between Yestermorrow Design / Build School and Spark. Yestermorrow provides classes in deep green, integrative approaches to building construction and restoration in Vermont. They are piloting their first satellite campus in an urban setting through Spark.

The partnership kicks off with Yestermorrow's first class in New London from July 6 - 18th to build a tiny house for Tiny Town that will be donated to a Syrian refugee family. There are still a few spots left to register to build the tiny house for Tiny Town!
